Tim Altman
Tim's career in audio post began with his passion for music -- studying classical piano from the age of 5 and later learning guitar, saxophone, bass, oboe, and didgeridoo. An avid musician, he continues to play in bands on bass, vocals and guitar. He brings his musical talent to every spot he mixes, adding electric guitar stings, toy piano accents, or even just a shaker -- his work blurs the border of sound design, music and rhythm. His recent projects includes music, mixing, and sound design on over 300 spots for the Nickelodeon Preschool re-branding campaign, a trailer for Food Network's new show with Melissa d'Arabian, VH1's "Black to the Future" promos, and various sound design and music projects for Nick Jr., The N, The Economist, Cointreau, MTV, VH1, WE, Lifetime and CSTV; as well as audio post, ADR, foley and sound design for several films and shorts including the award winning film, "44."
